Yellow beeplant or yellow spiderflower (Cleome lutea) is an important species because it helps sustaining over two hundred native pollinator species. Yellow beeplant grows here along a streach of the Malheur River floodplain and also just outside of the Ontario city limits and along the lower Owyhee River.
